Annoying popups

Since installing a recent version (25.2.07) I have been getting annoying popups in the corner of the graphics area - screen grab attached. They serve no useful purpose for me, and just distract me from the job in hand. What are they called and where is the setting to control them, and hopefully, switch them off?

    I think it's PROMPTMENU 0

    Keith, your screen shot shows the very large prompt menu that pops up during selection (only if you use post-selection rather than pre-selection). If you want to get rid of those large prompt menus, but keep the much smaller prompt menus that pop up during commands after selection is finished, then keep PROMPTMENU on but set PROMPTMENUFLAGS = 2.
