KB5089549 V24

Yesterday my Windows 11 PC installed KB5089549 and today BricsCAD with Cloudworx grinds to a halt with nearly max CPU usage. Tried uninstalling the update which nearly bricked the PC. Problem now persists. Had been using the system with this software perfectly every day for past 2 weeks on the very same files perfectly.

Going to try reinstalling BricsCAD & Cloudworx but if that doesn't work, this is the straw that makes be reinstall WIndows 10.

Is that even possible? W10, or even W7 wd be lovely.

  • I wiped my C: and reinstalled latest Win 11 Pro and all software, drivers etc.

Can now confirm that whatever Windows have done in the past few days has broken V24 and Cloudworx.

Exactly the same behavior: Try to manipulate the point cloud data and all CPU cores ramp to maximum slowing the system down to a slide show. Close the program and the system returns to normal.

About to raise the issue with Leica support. I do have V25 I can try. Of course my support CCP for cloudwork expired last week!
