Dimensions don't stay associated to objects they're snapped to

I thought I saw a forum post about this last year, but I can't find it now.

Why do dimensions disassociate from the object they're snapped to when the object is resized? The dimension lines should move with the objects they are snapped to.

As shown below, this gate was resized. The dimension lines were snapped where the yellow circles are shown, but when the gate was resized, the dimension lines did not move with it.

The "reassociate dim" command does not fix this issue. After a reassociate, the dimension still does not follow the objects/points/etc. that it's snapped to.

Is this something Bricsys is working on fixing? This seems like such a simple ask, that could save many manufacturing errors.

Thanks for any input.

How did you resize the object ? Use stretch or was it a dynamic block ?
