Custom BIM Tee Library Block: Only one Flow Connection Point works (BricsCAD V26 Trial)
in 3D Modeling
Hi everyone,I am having trouble creating a custom Tee library block in BricsCAD BIM (currently using the latest V26 Trial). Here are the steps I followed:
- I modeled a Tee fitting.
- I placed 3 circles at the ends of the Tee.
- I used the BIMCLASSIFY command on the circles to define them as Flow Connection Points.
- I set the domain to Piping, configured the flow directions, and defined the Profiles.
- Finally, I converted it into a library block.
The issues:
- When I use the component in a project, it rarely connects to all 3 pipes. Usually, only 1 connection point works. Neither dragging a pipe to the connection point nor using the CONNECTFLOWSEGMENTS command resolves the issue for the other 2 points.
- For the single connection point that actually works, it connects to any pipe profile size, completely ignoring the specific profile I assigned to the connection point during setup.
It seems like the intelligence/meta-data of the connection points is getting lost or corrupted during the library block creation. What am I missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
