Have AI insert blocks based on sketch

I often get changes sent to me in PDF's, it's mostly electrical symbols placed on a drawing.

Have anyone tried using a VLM or similar to have it analyze a sketch or dokument and have it insert all the blocks in the correct places within a DWG?

    V interesting idea. Very difficult to get image-AI to do exactly what you want, always freelances excessively, almost wilfully!

    Yes I would assume so, and the job would have multiple challenges to overcome. Have the coordinates of the "image" match the DWG to place them correctly. Make some connection between BricsCAD and the external software to run the commands. Have the VLM analyze the image and all symbols that is above the threshold of similarity is to be inserted into the DWG. Probably doable, but might require some research and a lot of trial and error.

    What's a VML - can find no ref. A LLM?

    Apparently it's a massive challenge, a race, to get current LLMs to recognise 3D concepts, or spatial concepts, like up, left, 30o, 3m, back, behind, which can't be expressed as a 'mood' (or a cult film!). I've been interested in https://www.archrender.ai/ , which seems to promise a bit of that, but hardly, once you dig in.
