Cutting off a wall with existing door/window

Hi mates,

Recently I was solving problems of a client and figured out an annoying problem. For confidential reason I cant show the file or image of the project but I need a solution for the similar condition. The situation is like this-

There is a wall with door/window placed like this (image 1)

For any reason I had to split the wall and delete one side leaving the door/window orphan (image 2).

Then we had to extend the wall again passing through the door/window. I just used press/pull to extend the wall (image 3 (front side) & 3.1 (back side)).

The door and the window still exist but they don't cut through the wall.

Now, is their anyway without replacing those existing door or window to cut the wall. I took the hardest way deleting and inserting those door/window adjusting the size again.

Someone please provide the solution.
