Ctrl + Z command within a command no longer works.

In V25 and V26, pressing Ctrl+Z during an active COPY command would undo the last copy placed and keep me in the COPY command so I could keep placing copies. In V27, Ctrl+Z does nothing while COPY is active. The only way to undo mid-command is to type U at the prompt.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start COPY and select entities.
2. Pick a base point and place two or three copies (multiple mode).
3. While still in the command, press Ctrl+Z.
This also happens when drawing any lines if i press the U button on my keyboard and press space or enter then it works. Just a few unnecessary key clicks when in 25 and 26 pressing ctrl Z mid command would undo the last action.

Expected (V25/V26 behavior): The last copy is removed and the COPY command stays active.
Actual (V27): Nothing happens.

Comments

  • Please try to set DYNPROMPT=0. There was an issue reported for Ctrl+Z during polyline creation, this variable was mentioned as influencing factor.

  • That did work but I like the dynamic prompt on the cursor. It seems silly to not have it still send the command with that on.

  • This is forwarded to developers for correction, disabling of DYNPROMPT is just a current workaround.

  • Gotcha thanks for the update.
