  • Jörg,

attaching it to a support request is indeed what I meant. Thanks!

  • We did have a crash report file which I have attached to SR25233.  It is quite an interesting file.  There are 20 entries pointing to five different modules.

  • I have add new items to SR24769. I think it's very often crashed when I have open DWG direct from Outlook or archive - read only and then want close it.

  • Hey all,
after reading this thread, I had a close look at my DocTabs routine and I did find a couple of scenarios where the routine could cause Bricscad to crash

1, if all the documents are closed  and "open folder" is chosen from the menu.
2, if all the documents are closed  and "duplicate tab" is chosen from the menu.

    Boom access violation.
I have uploaded the fix, get it from the application page.

It should be standard procedure -- if you're running into problems to unload "all" third party applications (especially mine). to help isolate the offending program. Don't forget to check your autoload.rx file too.

Also If you have a crash report that contains crash data for a third party module, you might send a quick note to the developer so they are aware of the problem.

Sorry for any problems I might have caused.

  • Daniel,

First, thanks for providing DocTabs.  We find it very useful.

I just sent documentation on recent crashes to Briscsys.  Seven of 20 records referenced DocTabs, but all were when multilple tabs were present, generally 10 to 12.

We will try the new version and will post feedback.
