Turn off rectangle by cursor during crossing select?

When you pick in open space, then pull to left, it shows teh green crossing window area and a little rectangle by the cursor.

Same with pulling right for "inside" window, but little rectangle has small circle inside.

any way to turn that rectangle off so it looks like AutoCad more?

  •  I had that same question when I first made the switch to BricsCAD in the early stages of V11.  I did not find a way to change the appearance of the cursor during the selection window process, mind you, I did not spend a lot of time on it; shortly afterward, I became use to it and hardly notice it - if I was asked, I couldn't tell somebody how AutoCAD's cursor appears when using a selection window.
  • I never saw that but it actually tells you what you are doing. Right to left circle crossing area , left to right circle inside area. Keep.

  • I guess after doing windows for years, I do not need a hint glyph.

Believe me, its not that I want it to look like acad, its that it gets in the way.

Wish I could change the color to grey or something dark.

  • Hi,
CROSSINGAREACOLOR and WINDOWAREACOLOR are the settings you are looking for
