I had run across this line in documentation sometime the past few weeks.
"3D solids conversion to unfoldable sheet metal parts"
Anyone know where i can find it or any info?

The command is called _smConvert. It can be found in the Sheet Metal toolbar and menu. The 3d solid must be have thin walls that, I think, must match the sheet metal thickness set in the Mechanical Browser.
