Automatically updating sheet set?
Hi everyone, new to the forum and bricscad as well.
I have been working for a company for about 6 months now and am just learning the ropes of this software.
I am going through a lot of old drawings and converting multiple drawings for a single product into 1 cad file.
Long story short sometimes I have to go through somewhere between 10-20 sheets and update each sheet number manually. I'm wondering if there is a way to somehow "link" the separate sheets together so when I change one title block to say for example.. "SHEET 1 OF 15" ...The rest of the sheets will at least change to 15?
I noticed there is a discussion similar to my question about 4 pages back but there was never a direct answer.
Hopefully this question makes sense.
Any help would be awesome!
Thanks, Brad

BricsCAD has a _SheetSet command that will create sheet sets:

The article Roy refers to links to a procedure that explains how to use SheetSet properties in a title block:

SSMPropEditor can help when working with Sheet Set properties across many sheets.

@BMK10 - essentially what a sheet set does for you, is not really "link" anything, what it does is establish properties that are stored in an external database, then you link these properties to annotation in your sheets. So for example, you might have a property named "TOTALSHEETS" and set it to "15". Then on any sheet you want, you create an annotation object and reference it to this property.
Then if "15" becomes "18", you update the property and all of your sheets update (not technically in real-time, but when you open or print the sheet).
The really great thing about it, is that once you create these linked annotations and these sheet sets (databases), you can reuse them over and over on similar projects/sheets.
