Mesh facetres - disable lines
Hello
I want to get rid of these facet lines of 3D buildings in for a city model.
The same DWG in AutoCAD doesn't show them, but BricsCAD does. Can this be tweaked, how?

A selection
Some elements will let them convert to solid, not all.
And it just takes much to long to convert a whole city!0 -

cool, almost thought you wrote "Anaheim", which is by me and where I was born.

I would try to convert as many meshes to solids as possible.
They may originate from being automatically created or by a 3D Mesh App.
Some Meshes may be corrupt or not water tight.Depending on how long that conversion may need I would select a bunch of them
convert (by typing CONVTOS...) and immediately qlsave the file in between.Looks like converting Meshes into Solids even increases File Size a lot,
but AFAIK the OpenGL speed is better.
Structure Browser in Briscacd BIM helps to sort what is converted and what not.0 -
And we call it Arnheim ....
I love city mass models !

@Hans Lammerts you don't happen to have the "Openluchtmuseum" as mass model?

Great idea! Lets work on that.0

Nice, I forgot about PDOK, was thinking of using Openstreetmap as that also has a description of the objects on the map itself, not sure if PDOK also specifies what type of building it is, would have to look into that.
