Stretching line using grips not working right in V21
This has been bugging me the past few months and I can't stand it anymore. Whenever I try to "stretch" a line using grips in the area where there is a curve it won't stay straight even when polar tracking is on . I'm sure there is setting somewhere that governs this but it escapes me. All snaps are off by the way, anyone have any ideas? See attached pics maybe it'll help clarify.

Maybe Perpendicular osnap is taking over? I say that only because I see the PER symbol in the second image, and in the third image the new line appears to be perpendicular to a curve where it intersects that curve.
I used to have trouble with it when I kept PER as one of my running osnaps. It seemed to have a preference for that one over other osnaps that I was trying for. So now I don't keep it on normally. When I want to snap perpendicular to something I press alt-X, which I've macro'd to PER, as an override.
