Text matching properties

Is there a command to copy the properties of one text to another without manually entering each characteristic in the properties pannel ? The 'MATCHPROP' tool does not work with text.

    Maybe you should be a bit more specific about your problem. For example, MatchProp works without any problem for pasting text height properties between text entities.

    Have you used the S option to select which properties to match?

    I find that with these settings the Matchprop command does copy Style, Height, and maybe other text properties not listed on the palette. Maybe those come with the "Text" option in the "Special" column.

    If you have MTEXT that has been formatted with the text editor (overiding the style and entity settings), then MATCHPROP won't give the expected result. In this situation a handy utility called StripMtext can be used to remove.
