Switching off BC_Substract

I try to use Phases for BIM for remodeling and renovations by using the properties. See this topic:

Using BIM for remodeling and renovations

.

I got it to work, but when I draw window in the new phase in an old wall. The opening is visible in the existing phase.

The problem seems to be in the BC_SUBTRACT layer because it is still doing his work even when switched off. Is there any way to change his behavior? Maybe if we can make sure that it is switch off when the GRAPHICOVERRIDE or the Typed plans tells him to do so, we can make it work.

Anybody an idea?

Thanks a lot!

Kind Regards,

Gerco

I have the same problem, and I actually suggested earlier that SR, REVIT has staged features that can be used. There doesn't seem to be a particularly good way to control this in BCAD at the moment, since BC_SUBTRACT is used as a Boolean operation, unless multiple layers can be set to control it.
