Grid snap ?
(With quite big Grid Settings - or a very small drawing ?)

thanks Zoomer, but no. The cursor works fine across the screen for the other functions I'm using and i've regularly had to to scale MM unit dwgs to Metre (to then transfer to Leica ts16 kit to mark out) previously.

It's now happening when using any function. Once the function is cancelled, the cursor moves smoothly as normal. This issue is specific to Bricscad only atm.
I wonder if there is something more that can be done in the scaling set up? please let me know

Check the pulldown on SNAP, and see if you have grid snap on

Zed, in addition to Its_Alive … F9 turns snapping on and off. This is really basic knowledge. See:

Hello.
In my testing, the behavior could be reproduced only with the snap set to ON and SNAPTYPE set to 0.
