AMD GPU RX6800 - newest driver installed - latest V21 Bricscad disappears from screen

Has anybody any clue what Driver Settings I should set up in AMD Software ?

Today I installed the latest AMD Driver 21.5.1
(I use default settings and explicitly reset to default)

I can open latest Bricscad V21, choose welcome screen,
see start screen. But when I try to open any blank or existing file,
Bricscad warns : "Screen update was interrupted, because of unknown error"
If I click OK, Bricscad will silently disappear from screen after 5 seconds.

Interestingly, all other CAD or 3D Software has no issue at all.

Crash Report mentions again RedSDK :
( I wonder why RedSDK is so annoying since a few months now,
for years Windows Bricscad was as stable as any average demanding App)

  • BTW,

latest V20 does the same screen exodus ....

  • OK, the latest Driver was an "optional" driver.
So I went down to the last recommended WHQL driver (21.4.1) and restarted
my PC and even "repaired" Bricscad V21.
But I still get the same message and Bricscad disappearing from screen.

    Not sure what it is.

    • Bricscad V21.2.03
(unlikely, I think it worked before)

    • AMD driver update

    • (no more that sure after WHQL downgrade)
    • Windows latest Wednesday Patch ?

Has anybody else experienced any problems with Bricscad and latest
    Windows Patches !?

  • Went downgrading step by step until AMD Software 21.3.1
    and Bricscad works again.
So the culprit are any AMD App drivers above 21.3.1 WHQL like
    21.4.1 and latest 21.5.1.
Seems like, no Problem with Windows Wednesday Updates.

    Already filed a SR ...

  • Just in case someone has the same problem,

"Screen update was interrupted, because of unknown error"

for any driver upwards of 21.3.1,
    still with V21.2.05.1.

    So any driver
    21.4.1
    21.5.1
    21.6.1
will still not work and Bricscad disappears from screen after
    trying to open ANY file..
