Copy with DUCS
I've searched to see if this is possible and I haven't found any clues.
I an trying to copy a bolt from one face to another using the dynamic ucs.
UCSDETECT is set to 1, SELECTIONMODES is set to 2 however the cursor doesn't highlight the faces and rotate accordingly.
Can this be done? (mp4 attached)

thanks David
I tried that lisp routine, however it rotates the bolt so the bolt centre line is at right angles to the z axis of the ducs when the new face is hilighted.

It worked for me.
I think I can see what is happening, I think it is trying to snap to the internal edges of the hole, therefore altering the rotation.
If you hover over the surface of the material that you want it lined up with and the bolt in the correct location, then hit SHIFT, it should stay on that plane, and you can snap to the centre of the hole.
Sorry, I don't have time to do a video, but I tried it various times to check I could repeat it.
