Parametric Stretch command not working on 3D entities
When I use the parametricstretch command on the operations tab of the BricsCAD ribbon on a 3d block and try to animate the parameter the entire solid moves, could I be using the command wrongly or is it not suited for 3D entites, and if the latter is the case why is the icon of the command tagged 3D? Thank you.

Am unfamiliar with parametrics, but in 3D you may need to use this undocumented (?) procedure, from
"Start a window selection, then hit the CTRL key once to invoke face
selection, then click the second point of the window. You can choose
whether to select inclusive or crossing, just like regular window
selection.
Now the faces inside (or crossing) the window are selected, launch DMPUSHPULL or DMMOVE."
Note, when you hit Ctrl, a little 'face' symbol appears near the pointer - that's how you tell that the Ctrl has 'taken'.
Not sure about 'You can choose whether to select inclusive or crossing; AFAIK, just like 2D Stretch, make sure your crossing (R to L) window selection fully encloses the faces that you want to move intact, but only partially the faces that you want to stretch.0 -
This explains the procedure and the outcome I explained in the original post. I'd really like to use the parametric stretch for a particular use case where i need grips for the intended block, so pls I'd appreciate the assistance

You can strech 2D entity (for example point, line or polyline) and link the value of that parametric strech to the value of a 3D constraint.

Thank you so much, it worked!
