No hardware rendering with (dedicated) Nvidia GPU

Hello I've recently installed BricsCAD v26 on my OpenSuse (Leap 16) Laptop.

With my dedicated GPU (Laptop RTX 3060) I get the message that the Hardware Rendering is not supported on my GPU but on my integrated GPU (Radeon from Ryzen 5th gen) it works totally fine.

I've tried the G07 Open driver, G06 Open driver and G06 proprietary driver. All on Wayland.

Tried on X11 with the G07 driver (I think) but there it just crashes as soon as I load a project.

Any Idea how I could get it to work on my dedicated GPU?

There's a good chance it's the driver. I've had a lot of trouble with drivers. I don't use SUSE; I use Kubuntu 26.04 XOM X11. In my case, I had to use the NVIDIA driver (open kernel) metapackage. The non-open kernel driver caused constant crashes. Try looking at other drivers or, in this case, a Ubuntu-based distro.

Another thing to check is in the control panel to see if it's in performance mode.
